Concern Debating
Our Transition Year Concern Debating Team took part in their first Debate on Wednesday, October 16th. They proposed the motion “ School strikes are the only effective way for young people to have a voice on Climate Change”.The opposing team was John the Baptist Community School ,Limerick.This year, to celebrate Concern’s 40th anniversary, students will be asked to debate ‘retro motions’ that have appeared at some point since the dawn of Concern Debates in the 1980s.

The Motion for Debate No.2 is “Feeding the world is increasingly beyond humanity's reach”. This motion was first debated in 1988/89.
