Bord Gais Student Theatre Awards Success
Thirty three students travelled to Dublin on Thursday 5th May for the Bord Gais Student Theatre Awards, They were accompanied by Ms O'Regan, Ms Whyte, Ms McCarty, Ms Brosnan and Mr Walsh. Sacred Heart was the only school nominated for three awards.
PDST Mini Company Finals
Well done to the mini company 'Picture Perfect' who attended the mini company finals in Naas on Tuesday 3rd May. Six of the student from the company, Ciara Ryan, Orla Lowney, Hannah O'Hea, Clara Crowley, Meabh Deasy and Lorraine Dineen represented their company at the finals.

Sacred Heart Secondary School, Clonakilty awarded Gaelbhratach Irish Flag
On Wednesday, 27 April, Sacred Heart Secondary School was awarded the Gaelbhratach Irish Flag in Saint Patrick’s College Drumcondra, Dublin. Gaelbhratach is a reward-based scheme which officially recognises schools, which are active in the promotion of Irish throughout the school. Gaelbhratach is funded by Foras Na Gaeilge and organised by Gael-linn.
My Trip to Kenya
The adventure began on Monday the 6th January. We travelled up to Dublin on the bus and met the other volunteers at the airport. We were in the queue, about to check in when I realised that I had my sisters passport! I wasn't able to fly that night and stayed with friends in Dublin.
County Senior Camogie Champions
ell done to the Senior Camogie team who were crowned County Champions yesterday following a victory over Carrigaline Community School on a score of 4:10 to 3:7.

Waldaschaff German exchange update
The students have been busy in Germany with lots of activities. As well as improving their German and attending some classes in the local school, the students have been immersed in many planned activities.

Arrived in Waldaschaff on Wednesday after being picked up at the Airport by the school caretaker Steffi and her friend from the local Fire Department, "Simon" where we were transported by Fire Vehicle to the school!
6th Year students are crowned All Ireland Champions at the "Certified Irish Angus Competition" in Croke Park.
6th Year students, Aoife Dullea, Laura Clancy, Meabhdh Sexton & Clionadh Condon were crowned winners of the inaugural Certified Irish Angus competition in Croke Park yesterday. The competition, which has been running for over 2 years, saw the students rare 5 Angus calfs through the theme of sustainability.
