A Mass for all exam students takes place on Saturday 3rd June at the parish church at 7.30pm.

UCC’s Disability Support Service offers Summer training workshops on useful strategies and Assistive Technology (AT) to support second level students who have dyslexia or dyspraxia.

Well done to all TY students who graduated from the Sacred Heart Secondary School TY programme last night.

Ms. O' Flynn, Ms. Mayock and Mr. Cronin organised The Junior High Jump competition with all students in 1st, 2nd and 3rd year.

The 6th year Graduation Mass will take place on Monday 22nd of May at 7.30 pm in the GRR.

On Wednesday 24th of May, TY Graduation takes place at 7.30 pm in the GPR.

The class of 2.2, accompanied by their C.S.P.E. teacher Ms. O Donovan, enjoyed a great day on their visit to Clonakilty District Court on Tuesday last. Students witnessed many interesting cases and were lucky to have a questions and answers session with the judge once the morning session of the court concluded. A great experience in bringing their learning in the classroom to life!
 

All TY Students travelled to the UCC open day. The students explored the campus with the aid of UCC student guides and were provided with information regarding the various courses from the respective faculties.

Summer Exams Schedule for TY, 5th, 2nd and 1st Year Students.

Well done to Zoe Hannigan, Carina Crowley, Ms. Curran, Jane Kingston and Nell Brophy on their recent win at the Inter Schools Hunter Trials. The students were outright winners having obtained the highest accumulation of points. 

Transition year students at Sacred Heart Secondary School recently undertook a module on sand circles as part of their maths course. As circles, constructions and geometry are key elements of the maths syllabus, this was innovative and fun way to explore maths in a real life context.

We arrived in Fermoy at 8 a.m. on Thursday the 4th of May to set off on our 87km cycle to Thurles.

The cycle started at approx. 11 a.m. There were loads of supporters out as we set off on our journey which helped immensely. The atmosphere throughout the day was unreal!
