Golf at SHSS

Clonakilty Golf Club Lady Captain Clair Guinevan and members Rosemary Jennings and Elaine Laine came to the school today to offer tuition to the 2nd year golfers. The club very generously gifted the school with clubs, golfballs, markers and a practice net. The girls will continue to work on their putting and swings during the Monday lunchtime club. The girls hope to visit the course in the near future to develop their skills and go to the next level. Clair welcomed the new link between SHSS and Clonakilty Golf Club and hopes to see more girls going out on the golf course and taking up the sport.
