Best news of the week: Katie O’Driscoll got selected for the Irish U17 Basketball Panel. Is there any sport she’s not good at?!
Victors of the week (1) : The Junior B Hockey team who won against Ashton.
Victors of the week (2): The SHSS Senior football team who beat Christ the King.
Hero of the week : Mr Walsh who was part of the winning Clonakilty Cork SFC team in 1996. Our deputy is a champion!
Most energetic of the week(1): The first years who took part in the football blitz in Skibbereen.
Most energetic of the week (2) : The first years who took part in the hockey blitz organised by Mr Cronin and the GAA Future Leaders.
Violinist of the week: Our 8th #shsspodcast guest, Justin Grounds, who played Bach at the end of his interview. Incredible.
Artists of the week (1): The TYs who are still painting backdrops and sets for the musical next week.
