5th Year Advocate Group promote student well being
By Aine Moloney
The 5th year advocates with Ms. Sexton have been busy with promoting student wellbeing initiatives. They have hung up posters around the school and on the backs of the toilet doors addressing mental health. Some examples can be seen below. These posters include positive quotes and strategies to maintain a good mental health. This is a follow on from our wellbeing week.
We will be giving all first-year classes a presentation about mental health and wellbeing. We will put emphasis on being kind to one another and the ‘Take 5’ initiative. This will take place on Tuesday the 8th December.
We are also working on our notice board in the upper social area. We will display the work we have done to date and information that we feel would be important to the school community.
