Computer Science students at Sacred Heart visit Global Shares

Fifth year Computer Science students at Sacred Heart visited the multinational technology company, Global Shares, this past week. The students and their teacher Mr. Kiely were given a tour of the premises and got the opportunity to see programmers at work. Global shares, a company which was founded in Clonakilty less than ten years ago, now has offices throughout the world. The girls were introduced to team building exercises and software development management techniques called "scrums" and "sprints", all over a working lunch of pizza!!
